Hatchet-Man, Marvin L. Easter, 1995

Hatchet-Man is the true life story of Marvin Easter. He was hired by the Flint Michigan Fire Department following a U.S. District Court order to include minority fire-fighters.
He, and the other black firefighters were ridiculed, tormented, harassed, humiliated, and fired if they cracked under the pressure of their employment. On a daily basis, they were subjected to verbal abuse, including racial epithets.
Journey with them as they ride towards their march of racial equality in the same spirit as Rosa Parks, and the boycotts of the old south.
