ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Joel Gebet is an author for, and contributing editor to several fire trade magazines including Fire Apparatus Journal, Fire Apparatus Magazine, and 1st Responder. He grew up in Long Island, NY and began a lifelong interest in fire apparatus at the early age of 5. He began photographing fire apparatus as a child and continues to spend all of his spare time this way today.

Juergen Kiefer, Joel’s co-author, has written four other books on fire apparatus published in Germany, as well as numerous articles for German magazines. He became interested in fire apparatus 25 years ago while collecting scale-models.
