Spanish for Law Enforcement (book + CD), Premier Language Solutions, 2004

First book of its kind created by a police officer with the active police officer in mind.

This book is NOT a conversational Spanish book. It is specifically designed to teach police officer how to say key phrases, ask questions, and give commands in Spanish. You won’t learn how to ask, “Is the library open today” in Spanish, but you WILL learn how to say, “Step out of vehicle and put your hands on your head.” This book contains thousands of essential words and phrases.

The text of the book is divided into eleven logical sections, which are easy to find with in-printed tabs, including:
* Officer Safety
* Basic Commands
* Motor Vehicle
* Domestic Violence
* Cell Room (for booking prisoners)
* Medical Call

The book also contain removable translated legal forms for use by police officer in the performance of their duty, including:
* Miranda rights
* Rights of the Abused Persons (domestic violence)
* Consent to search.

Never again lose a case based on a consensual search because the suspect didn’t understand English.

The book is 4 1/2" x 7". Its size and material was specifically designed for an officer’s side or back pocket. The cover is durable enough to withstand the daily rigors of policing.

Whether it goes into the pocket or the brief case, this book is made to last.

A one hour audio CD is included with each book. Excellent tool for use at home or in a vehicle. The CD covers all sections found in the book and helps you to perfect your Spanish pronunciation.

It is the most inexpensive, yet most effective language book on the market today.
