The State Firemen's & Fire Marshals' Association of Texas has a long and proud history in the fire service.
They hold the distinction of being the oldest and largest fire service organization in Texas, and one of the oldest in the nation. The SFFMA began in 1876 and has continued and grown to its current membership of 19,000 members.
The vision of their early founders and leaders formed a foundation that has provided for the longevity and leadership throughout their 128 years of service.
