LaSalle Bank Fire (DVD), Chicagoland Video Inc., 2005

One of the largest CFD responses in recent memory occurred on December 6, 2004.
The LaSalle Bank located at 135 LaSalle Street in downtown Chicago's financial district is a 45-story historic art-deco building. The fire was on the 29th floor and involved much of that floor.
This high-rise fire quickly escalated to a 5-11 and 4 special calls, with assistance called from various suburban communities to respond change-of-quarters. It took firefighters several hours to get the fire under control. Firefighters assisted in the evacuation of hundreds of building occupants. A total of 29 firefighters were injured during the operation, all recovered.
This video also includes footage of several suburban companies at work in Chicago.
