This series of video tapes is a result of the FDIC conference. Whether you're an instructor, fire chief or a probie learning the ropes, the videos in this series will prepare you for the issues in your department and on the fireground.

In video was filmed at the February, 2000 conference.

America watched, spellbound, as Firefighter Matt Moseley and local helicopter pilot performed the spectacular rescue of a crane operator trapped more than 200 feet in the air by the extreme radiant heat from a raging fire below.

What happened after the rescue and extinguishments of the near-conflagration-size fire should make the fire service take double notice.

Firefighter Moseley and Lt. Rhodes, veterans of the Atlanta Fire Department and FDIC H.O.T. instructors, present what it takes to turn a fire department response into a powerful tool to move the fire service ahead and secure gains that impact firefighter.

As Rhodes, president of the local firefighters union says "If you don't invest in marketing your department, then you have to take what you're given."
