In addition to riding with apparatus responding to fires, we get to see fireworks set off by celebrating civilians on city streets, under cars, near frame buildings, etc.

The video actually is a lot more than just the fourth of July. See the daily operations of FDNY Rescue 3 ("Big Blue"), go with them to the supermarket, watch them cook, and of course ride with them to many fires. We see fires in a "taxpayer", tenements, etc.

Also shown is a general alarm in the City of West New York, N.J. which occurred on 7/1/91.
