  • November 20, 2002 - Queens, Flushing section, 3rd alarm box 33-4463, Prince Street & 35th Avenue - fire originated in a 1 story 100 x 100 commercial, extended to exposure #2 a 50 x 100 commercial
  • November 24, 2002 - Bronx, Parkchester section, 2nd alarm box 22-3064, White Plains Road & Archer Street - heavy fire on arrival in a 2 1/2 story brick semi attached private dwelling - 2nd alarm was quickly transmitted
  • November 26, 2002 - Brooklyn, Remsen Village section, 3rd alarm box 33-2387, Ralph Avenue & Preston court - large auto salvage yard. Firefighting operations hampered by a 15 foot high wall of concrete blocks, another section blocked off by trailers packed one on top of another. Large piles of cars and several structures were destroyed. Numerous tower ladders and deck guns were used.
  • December 9, 2002 - Queens, Pomonok section, 3rd alarm box 33-4944, Parsons Blvd. & Jewel Avenue - fire in a 1 story strip mall
  • December 18, 2002 - Queens, Floral Park section, all hands box 75-9341, 265th Street & Hillside avenue - firefighters encountered heavy fire through the roof of a 1 story taxpayer.
  • December 23, 2002 - Brooklyn, Ocean Hill section, 2nd alarm box 22-1650, Atlantic & Saratoga Avenues - a gas explosion caused extensive damage to a 2 story frame 20 x 30 private dwelling. Initial reports of persons trapped proved to be negative.
  • December 26, 2002 - Brooklyn, East Brooklyn Industrial Park section, 5th alarm box 55-1716, 300 Liberty Avenue (1 square block) - fire began in a candle factory and consumed the entire square block of structures. 5th alarm plus numerous special calls.
  • January 16, 2003 - Queens, Hollis section, 3rd alarm box 33-4313, 195th Street & 104th Avenue - fire on the top floor and through the roof of a 6 story apartment house.
  • January 18, 2003 - Queens, Corona section, 3rd alarm box 33-9351, 104th Street & 34th Avenue - fire started in a auto repair shop and extended to exposures.
  • January 23, 2003 - Queens, Corona section, 3rd alarm box 33-9336, Roosevelt Avenue and 111th Street - while returning from a car fire the officer of Engine 289 noticed smoke coming from a store in a row of taxpayers. The first alarm was transmitted, 2nd and 3rd alarms were quickly struck.
