ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Matt Lee has had a lifelong interest in old cars, trucks and fire engines. As a technical writer for the Ford Motor Company, he has gained a fondness for detail that sets his books apart from the norm.

Lee has owned 56 antique vehicles, taught shop part time for 20 years, and is a trustee of the National Auto Collection at the Detroit Public Library.

Books he has authored include: Seagrave, Detroit Fire Department Apparatus History, A Pictorial History of the Fire Engine, Vol. 1, and A Pictorial History of the Fire Engines, Vol. 2. Matt is the co-author of Classic Seagrave 1935-1951 Photo Archive.

Matt's books are considered among the best written books on fire apparatus and only A Pictorial History of the Fire Engine, Vol. 2, Classic Seagrave 1935-1951 Photo Archive and this title are still available (through this website).
