The Ebbets Field Wall of Remembrance Foundation

The Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance, located in Coney Island, is a celebration of the lives of the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, court officers and federal agents killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks, and who will forever remain our heroes. How the Wall came to be is an inspiring story - about compassion, dedication and most of all, strength.

The effort would unite strangers, families, volunteers and first responders themselves - all dedicated to remembering not just a great loss, but the remarkable lives of the men and women on the Wall.

The Fallen Heroes of September 11th is a story about a man with a vision, and the many people who worked with him to build the memorial wall. This beautiful book tells the remarkable story of a group of ordinary New Yorkers who accomplished an extraordinary feat to build a fitting memorial to honor the fallen heroes. The book has portraits of all 417 first responders.

All funds go to support the work and programs of the Wall of Remembrance.
