About the Author: Kimberly Clark is a 20+ year veteran of the Tampa Police Department. She has been a certified instructor of police-related topics since 1990. The topics range from high liability defensive tactics to numerous administrative subjects. Her students include civilian personnel and certified police officers in college academy classes.

Ms. Clark spent several years as a Field Training Officer and continues to teach at the Tampa Police Academy. She also teaches academy classes on-line for the Smith and Wesson Police Academy and is a member of ASLET.
