Seagrave Fire Apparatus 1959-2004 Photo Archive, Kent D. Parrish, 2004

Founded in 1881, Seagrave is the oldest continuous manufacturer of motorized fire apparatus in the country.

Seagrave’s “Modern Era” began in 1959 with the introduction of the cab-forward K-Models and has continued on to the sophisticated machines specified by today’s fire service.

The majority of published material has focused on the Seagrave classics, and until this book little has fully explored the Modern Era. This volume continues where the Seagrave 70th Anniversary Series left off and presents a cross section of the custom rigs produced by the “Greatest Name in Fire Apparatus” between 1959 and 2004.
