ORDERING METHODS: We accept orders through our website using our SECURE server. You may also place your order by a number of alternative means: by mail, by fax, by phone, in person. METHODS OF PAYMENT: We accept VISA, MasterCard or NOVUS (DiscoverCard). Paypal is available for internet orders. Payment by check, money order or bank check must be in U.S. FUNDS, drawn against a U.S. bank. Make checks and money orders payable to "FSP Books and Videos". Orders with insufficient payment may be returned.
METHODS OF SHIPPING: Domestic orders are shipped by UPS, or U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. UPS requires a full street mailing address. UPS does NOT deliver to P.O. boxes. We generally ship within 3 days of receipt of order. Canadian and international orders are shipped by the U.S. Postal Service and other carriers.
UPS DELIVERIES: Orders are shipped from Hudson, Massachusetts. UPS does NOT deliver on Saturdays and Sundays (except for an extra fee added to a next day or 2nd day air charge). Deliveries to addresses in Massachusetts and surrounding states (NH, CT, VT, RI) are usually one day. The further the destination is from Massachusetts, the longer the delivery time. The maximum for UPS U.S. deliveries is 6 business days (not counting Saturdays and Sundays) to the West Coast.
U.S. POST OFFICE DELIVERIES TO U.S. DESTINATIONS: Orders are shipped from Hudson, Massachusetts. Orders shipped by the U.S. Postal Service for U.S. destinations are usually shipped "PRIORITY MAIL" and are generally delivered in 2-4 days.
DELIVERIES TO CANADIAN DESTINATIONS: Based on the weight of your order, and the amount paid for shipping, we will send your order by airmail, or ground. Airmail deliveries should arrive in a week to 10 days, ground shipments may take 2-3 weeks.
DELIVERIES TO INTERNATIONAL (NON-CANADA) DESTINATIONS: Effective September 1, 2001 the default shipping method will be via Omnisort. Omnisort ships the parcel to your country by air, and is a pay-as-you-go shipper. This means that for each shipment to you, there is a charge of $5.00 per pound, or fraction thereof. The lighter the weight of the order, the lower the shipping charges. When the parcel reaches your country, your local post office then delivers it. Since Omnisort works with local post offices, orders have no insurance, are not trackable, and have no proof of delivery. If you require any these services, we will ship your order by the U.S. post office. Please contact us with your exact requirements and we will advise of the cost. If ordering by mail using the order form in the middle of the catalog, leave the "Shipping & Handling" block empty. We will charge you the actual amount ($5.00 per pound or fraction thereof), and show the resulting balance (credit or debit) on your invoice.
To get an idea of the approximate shipping charge use the following: books weigh, on average 1.5 pounds; videos weigh, on average 0.5 pounds; patches weigh on average 0.02 pounds.
SHIPPING CHARGES FOR DOMESTIC ORDERS: See Shipping & Handling to determine the correct amount. Orders to APO or FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, The Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico require only the amount shown in the chart for U.S. deliveries.
FASTER DELIVERY FOR DOMESTIC ORDERS: For UPS deliverable orders to the 48 contiguous states, UPS 2nd day air service is available. If you desire this service or would like to check the 2nd Day Air rate for your order, click on "2nd DAY AIR (USA)" in the on-line shopping cart.
So that there is no confusion about what "UPS 2nd day air" means, please read the following:
DAMAGED GOODS DELIVERED TO U.S. ADDRESSES: If your order is received damaged CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY. WE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM TO YOUR SATISFACTION.
DAMAGED GOODS DELIVERED TO CANADIAN AND FOREIGN ADDRESSES: Sorry, we can not be responsible for goods damaged to destinations outside of the U.S. You may choose to have your order shipped "insured". See "Insured Orders", below.
1) UPS 2nd day air applies ONLY to domestic orders and ONLY affects the time it takes UPS to deliver the order. It does NOT affect the time it takes us to process the order. We process all orders in the order received. Although we usually process orders the day received, in some cases it may take up to 3 days to be processed and then presented to UPS for delivery.
2) UPS does NOT count the day an order is picked up as one of the 2 days. An order picked up on Monday, with 2nd day air delivery will usually be delivered on WEDNESDAY. (UPS claims a very high percent of meeting their 2 day deliveries.)
3) UPS delivers on "business days" - Monday thru Friday. Customers can pay a "Saturday delivery" fee, in addition to a next day or 2nd day fee for a Saturday delivery. Please contact us if you desire a Saturday delivery.
