This program consists of 8 fires that took place from July to October, 2008. Radio communications are heard in all incidents.

CONTENTS:
* Gardner, MA - General Alarm. July 26, 2008, Mill St. A fully involved 2 story vacant mill complex.
* Woonsocket, RI - Working Fire. Aug 5, 2008, Avenue A, Joe’s Barbershop. Basement fire extends to the roof of a 1 story commercial. Fire started when gasoline was being poured into a lawnmower near a boiler.
* Uxbridge, Ma - 2nd Alarm. Aug 23, 2008, Ironstone St. Firefighters arriving shortly after midnight found this vacant 2.5 story woodframe fully involved.
* Woonsocket, RI - 3rd Alarm. Aug 28, 2008, Summer St. Heavy fire was showing from the 1st and 2nd floors of this 2.5 story occupied dwelling and rapidly extending during this 4:30pm blaze.
* Franklin, MA - 2nd Alarm. Sept 1, 2008, Plain St. Heavy fire was showing from the rear of this 2 story occupied duplex and spread thru the roof during the mid afternoon on Labor Day.
* Bristol, RI - Working Fire. Sept 17, 2008, Siegel St. Two 3 story occupied dwellings were involved when firefighters arrived.Companies made an aggressive attack and knocked down the heavy fire within 20 minutes.
* Central Falls, RI - 2nd Alarm. Oct 11, 2008, Rand St. Numerous occupants were rescued when fire started in the basement of this 3 story dwelling. Fire spread to the roof before being knocked down.
* Taunton, Ma - 3rd Alarm. Oct 19, 2008, Bay St., Dever Gymnasium. This vacant 2 story gymnasium was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

  • 2 people lucky to be alive after this massive car vs tree MVA in Uxbridge, MA.
  • 4 alarms were needed to knock down this early afternoon blaze in Worcester. Temperature was in the mid 90’s.
  • Firefighters in Upton and surrounding communities made a great stop in preventing this fire from destroying a 1 story motel. 3 alarms were transmitted for this fire.
