* Fitchburg, MA - June, 13, 2011, 6th alarm, Main St. Fire destroys the upper floors of a downtown 5 story apartment building. I took several hours to bring this blaze under control.

* Cumberland, RI - July 25, 2011, Working Fire, Tower Hill Rd. Firefighters arrive to find a long vacant 2 story building fully involved approximately 300’ into the woods.

* Pawtucket, RI - July 25, 2011, 2nd alarm, Main St. Fire tears though the vacant “Morris Novelty” 2 story vacant commercial building.

* Woonsocket, RI - September 10, 2011, 2nd alarm, Blackstone St. Fire on floor #1 of a vacant 4 story woodframe extends through the roof. Severe exposure problems.

* Coventry, RI - September 15, 2011, 2nd alarm, Howard Ave. Fire causes significant damage to the front office building of a vacant large mill complex.

* Webster, MA - September 27, 2011, 2nd alarm, Tower St. Fire originated in the basement of the very old, vacant 3 decker and extended through the roof. Firefighters were hampered by trees including a tree that grew inside the building! Severe access problems.

* Spencer, MA - October 28, 2011, 3rd alarm, Langevin St. A fully involved vacant 1.5 story cape on a dead end street. This fire occurred the day before a major snowstorm blanketed the area.

* Oxford, MA - October 30, 2011, 5th alarm, Old River Rd. This fire occurred the day after a major snowstorm dumped about a foot of snow in the area. One of the earliest snow falls on record for Southern New England. Fire originated in a front apartment of a fully occupied 2.5 story apartment building and spread throughout the complex. It took several hours to bring the massive blaze under control.

* Worcester, MA - December 8, 2011, 3rd alarm, Arlington St. Fire destroys a vacant 3 decker where 2 firefighters became trapped after a sudden collapse of the rear of the building. Sadly 1 firefighter succumbed to his injuries.
