Firefighter Safety Dinner and Seminar: The Worcester Area Fire Chiefs Association will be hosting their fourth annual Firefighter Safety Dinner and Seminar on Thursday, November 20th at The Manor in West Boylston.This year's keynote speaker is Lt. Mike Wilbur from FDNY.Lt. Wilbur will present a program titled "Recent Wrecks and Lessons Learned" where he will investigate and offer insight into recent fire apparatus. Tickets for the dinner/seminar are $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the door. Worcester Firefighters Memorial Safety and
Survival Seminar: Their final
fundraising efforts consist of a Dec. 3, 2008 seminar with
four speakers, culminating with the Dedication of the “Remembrance Wall”. Cost is $100 and all
proceeds raised from these fundraising efforts will go to finance the “Remembrance

Station libraries: We will work very hard with you to get your instructional / promotional books and DVDs for your station libraries within your budget.Send us a list of what you need and what your budget is. IFSTA Library: We get requests from some departments for a "complete set of IFSTA manuals". What IFSTA calls their "complete set" or library changes frequently because of edition changes, titles discontinued, titles added. Also, every fire department really doesn't need every book in a "complete set". To get what you really need, nothing more, and at a reduced price, email us a list (please use the IFSTA 35xxx or 36xxx number). We will promptly reply with a quote. If you would still like the complete IFSTA library, give us a call for pricing.
Firefighter Recruit Training: So far this year we’ve seen the release of 5 new editions of recruit training books. They are:
Pennwell (Fire Engineering) has announced that they will have Firefighter recruit training materials available in April. To preorder please call us at (800) 522-8528.
