CLASSIC FIREBOATS IN ACTION (Harbor Fires - New York and New Jersey 1900-1950), Ahrens-Fox Library, 1996

The action begins with an incredible 1905 boat tour of the New York harbor followed by the 1891 fireboat "New Yorker" showing off. Virtually every FDNY fireboat delivered before 1940, such as the "William Strong" , "Abram Hewitt", "Thomas Willett", "James Duane", "John Mitchell", "John Harvey" and the "Firefighter" all have been captured on film as they work.
