DUNDAS (ONT) FIRE DEPARTMENT 150th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, 1997
The Town of Dundas (Ontario) celebrated its 150th birthday on July 26, 1997.
As part of the celebration a muster and parade was held.
Chief Colin Johnson tells some department history. The first piece of motorized apparatus, placed in service in 1929, was named "Big Bertha". Chief Johnson says that the derivation of the name is not known.
The parade shows new trucks and vintage rigs (and a dog or two).
