This workbook is designed to accompany the textbook Emergency Care, 14th Edition. This workbook covers the knowledge and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Education Standards to which all standardized instruments will be referenced.

This edition continues the emphasis of the Education Standards on patient assessment.  In addition, there are several updated sections and the new chapters as found in the text.  There are Case Studies as well as a "Gray Zone" discussion that addresses areas of prehospital care that simply are not "black and white" but rather involve shades of gray.  There are three Interim Exams as well as a full-length comprehensive final EMT exam in Appendix B.

This workbook includes multiple choice, matching, fill in the blanks, skills checklist and more. An answer key is provided in the back of the book with page references to where the answer can be found in the text.
