• Added US units throughout the document
•  Updated definitions for verified ground point, grounded (grounding), and grounding electrode connector to correlate with NFPA 70®, National Electrical Code®
• Updated definitions for liquid classes to correlate with NFPA 30, Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code
•  Completely reorganized Chapter 7 includes: establishing the difference between a grounding conductor, a bonding conductor, and an active bond monitoring system; providing guidance on resistance measurements for bonding connections and total resistance to ground; and recommending separate ground systems for electrostatic systems
• New recommendation for combustible liquids
• New provisions for powder charge relaxation time measurements and electrostatic ignition risks
• Added section on flexible intermediate bulk containers and flexible intermediate bulk containers
