Guide to New York City Fire Apparatus

$24.95
John A. Calderone

Apparatus fans, especially those interested in FDNY, will want to add this book to their collection.

Containing information current, as of March 1, 2005, a picture of each different type of apparatus, by specific model, is shown, followed by the companies assigned to that model, and/or the disposition of each.

For example, under "Pumpers" a 1992 Seagrave 1000 gpm pumper is shown. 12 were purchased and of the 12, 7 were disposed of, 4 are spares, and 1 was converted to a rescue-pumper.

For those who keep accurate records of rig assignments, the FDNY serial number for each rig is also included.

Also included are photos of many patches and a list of apparatus assignments by unit.
