Notes from the Firehouse is a memoir written by a retired firefighter.
It consists of seventeen short stories that document the career of a blue collared firefighter. Not every firefighting book needs to be written by an ex-chief or someone working in the busiest firehouse in the country.
In firefighting everyone has stories. The stories describe the most memorable calls of the author’s career and of course, that special brand of insanity that is only found in the firehouse - or as the author refers to it, the Cracker Factory.
