First, a 3rd alarm with fire venting into a shaft, with extension to both exposures in the Bronx. Also in the Bronx, fire vents out the cockloft of a 3 story frame dwelling.

College Point Queens is the scene of 2 alarm fire in a museum. Very heavy fire conditions exist. The rear of the building was used for boat and vehicle storage. Next, a Baybridge Queens 3rd alarm for fire out the rear of a 3 story frame multi dwelling with extension to the exposure. Finally, in the Woodhaven section of Queens, a 6th alarm wind driven fire in a row of attached private dwellings. 11 of the 19 homes sustained fire damage.
