In the summer of 1994 Alan Simmons, producer of many fire videos, made his yearly pilgrimage to "Mecca" (the East Coast). We get to watch and enjoy the results of his travels.

First we visit Jersey City Rescue 3. We ride with them to alarms and see them operate at everything from auto extrications to building fires. Many fires are shown of Jersey City units operating at fires.

Then we move across the river to see FDNY action. Many "all-hands" are shown, plus a spectacular 4th alarm in a auto repair garage.

Then we move back to New Jersey for 4 additional fires, including fires in a catering hall, and factories in Newark.
