  • June 11, 1997 - Redbrush & Indian Summer Rd. Mississauga Ontario. A 4th alarm was needed to hault this fast moving fire through a neighborhood of houses under construction. High winds, water problems and propane tanks added to the problem.
  • June 13, 1997 - 1372 King St. W. Toronto, Ontario. A Rare daytime 3rd alarm plus church fire. Heavy fire in the roof. Three ladder pipes, a Bronto Tower and many large lines were used.
  • Sept 27, 1997 - 1223-1225 Bloor St. W. Toronto, Ontario: A 3rd alarm plus in a Furniture store made for heavy smoke conditions and fire through the roof.
  • Oct 13, 1997 - 658 Old Weston Rd. Toronto, Ont : This 2&3 story warehouse type building went quick as fire rolled through it making for heavy fire conditions and numerous walls to fall. Three ladder pipes, a Bronto Tower and many large lines were part of this 3rd alarm plus fire.
  • Jan 30, 1998 - 285 Danforth Rd. Scarborough, Ontario. This 2 bk 50x75 irregular Plumbing warehouse made for heavy fire conditions and a concern for exposures. A rare 3rd alarm brought three engines, a tower, heavy rescue and a air supply truck from Toronto to help fight this.
  • April 16, 1998 - 460 Shaw St. Toronto, Ontario: A night time Church fire brought out a 3rd alarm plus. Fire in the basement met crews on arrival and by the time two ladder pipes and a Bronto Tower were set up there was fire through the roof.
  • Aug 31, 1998 - 211 Parliement St. Toronto,Ontario: Three row houses were lost in this 3rd alarm fire. See an attempt at an interior attack until fire involves the entire roof area.
  • Jan 14, 1999 - 2362 Queen St E. Toronto, Ontario: A Toronto Bus driver noticed fire in this four story walk up. By sun up this was a 5th alarm with bitterly cold conditions. A large snowstorm two days earlier made for slow moving at the scene. Heavy fire conditions through out the building made for tough search and rescue. Two people died in the fire.
  • April 3, 1999 - 45 North Drive. Etobicoke Ontario: A mansion on a narrow street where the fire had a good head start is what first in crews found on their arrival. This 2bk House with a attached 3 car garage had heavy smoke and fire conditions throughout. $4 Million loss.
  • May 27, 1999 - 1101 Dupont St Toronto, Ontario. This vacant 150x150 mill type former furniture factory was being renovated into lofts when this fire erupted. This was a 5th alarm fire and the most spectacular fire of the year. The first 4 alarms were struck in the first ten minutes.
