Contains both the Topanga Fire and the Harvard Fire.

Topanga Fire - Sept. 28, 2005: This wind driven "Topanga Fire" burned through 28,000 acres in less than three days. Forty MPH winds pushed the fire through the heavily populated neighborhoods in the West San Fernando Valley. Witness the firefighting effort as fire fighters attempt to prevent as much structure loss as possible.

Harvard Fire - Sept. 29, 2005: The terrain driven "Harvard Fire", also pushed by prevailing up canyon winds, consumed 1800 acres of steep, mostly inaccessible wildland. The fire started next to a golf course and quickly traveled beyond fire fighters reach. Medium to heavy brush, steep terrain, and hot and dry conditions contributed to the rapid rate at which the fire spread.
