Forgotten Memories of The Blue Soldiers is a story of a police officer who walked the streets of Hartford during the rough times of the 60's and 70's. Many stories are told: how the book got its title; what happened to Lance Lepore; brutal murders; practical jokes that were played on fellow cops; the love the author found to rescue himself from dark despair.

This well-written book is easy to read - once you start, you will not be able to put it down. The reader will walk along side this foot cop and will relive the events that took place in the heart of the city. It is not a book for the squeamish for it can become very graphic and real at times.

You will enjoy reading it even if you have not read the first book, The Badge, The Street and The Cop.
