In federal law enforcement, the phrase "Plain Old Agent" or "POA" is a term used by management when requesting personnel for a detail. These agents require no special skill other than being just a POA; however, this phrase applies to most of the men and women who work the streets and make cases every day to keep America safe.

In this exciting new book, Dave DiBetta remembers the hundreds of cases, personalities, and experiences from his nearly 22 years with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms an Explosives (ATF).

Through these real life, behind-the-scenes stories, Dave details the day-to-day realities for those working in law enforcement...the hard work, long hours, humor and frustrations.

In addition, Dave provides his personal account of the deadly standoff with the Branch Davidians at Waco, Texas. Dave provides fresh insight into the planning, execution, and aftermath of that day with details never shared before.

Plain Old Agent provides a detailed look at what it id like to be a regular agent working for the ATF.
