It begins with an all hands with fire venting out of a two story commercial building in Queens. Followed by a 4th alarm in an Astoria Queens taxpayer.
Arrive with first due companies at an all hands fire in a vacant 2.5 story wood frame. Next a church fire extends to a five story brick O/M/D 4th alarm in the Bronx. This fire had heavy fire conditions.
Extremely heavy smoke vents out of a vacant 5 story Manhattan O/M/D. Most windows were bricked or boarded over, with some having steel shutters or window bars.
Finally, 2nd alarm on arrival in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx when a tractor trailer tanker carrying a mix of gasoline and oil overturns and erupts into flames. Upon arrival burning fuel was flowing down the block, around the corner, and into storm drains causing cars on the street to burn and several fires in stores on the side street.
