The Los Angeles Police Department has a long history of service, controversy, and firm attempts to improve themselves for the betterment of the people. Though not all of their actions are justifiable, training their officers to better serve the people can never go amiss.

Historic LAPD Training Films is a collection of two educational training videos from the 1950s and 60s to serve as an example of how the department has changed, and how far it still has to go to truly serve the community.

This is a wonderful look back, and a strong study in how police work has changed over the years
