About the Author:
Brian G. Anderson serves as a Battalion Chief for Miami-Dade (FL) Fire Rescue. He has been involved in the fire service since 1977, and has been an instructor and speaker for many training programs including FDIC, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, and FEMA. Anderson has published articles in Fire Engineering magazine and In Attendance, The Magazine of the British Firefighter. He is licensed as a fire instructor, paramedic, and firefighter, and also serves as the Fire/EMS liaison to the William Lehman Injury Research Center at the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami. He also serves as an instructor in Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s Officer Development.
