This video features the first wind driven fires of the 2008 fall season in Southern California. Two of these fires occur on the same day and in close proximity to one another. Driven by Santa Ana winds through drought conditioned fuels, these fires spread across 19,627 acres damaging or destroying 141 structures including 75 residences. Air operations (fixed wing and rotor wing) are featured at all three fires including ops at the fill sites. Radio traffic accompanies most incidents.
