NY Plane Crash & Crew Resource Management: Information from The Secret List (firefighterclosecalls.com): The Airways Jet that crash-landed in New York's Hudson River on January 15th, 2009 was piloted by Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger whose "side job" is a consultant in risk. He was instumental in the development and implementation of the Crew Resource Management (CRM) course used by the airlines...and now used by many in the fire service as presented in the last several years. Fire Engineering’s Crew Resource Management for the Fire Service aims to reduce injuries and fatalities on the fireground by preventing human error.

Massachusetts Drivers FYI: In a cost cutting move that has not been well publicized the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles will no longer mail out renewal notices for licenses or registrations. Be sure to check when yours are up for renewal
