FDNY: The Battle Continues, World Trade Center 9-11-2001

Arriving shortly after the second tower was attacked, Fire Line Video’s videographers began documenting the scene as the events unfolded. They remained on the scene as the south tower collapsed, through the collapse of the north tower and on into the rescue and recovery operations.

This program provides you with an uncensored view of the conditions the fire fighters faced on 9-11-2001. The majority of the sound track is the actual FDNY radio dispatch transmissions and fire ground radio traffic. Some brief comments are made by the cameramen as they are documenting what they were witnessing.

This program is the winner of the 2002 Aegis Award for production in a documentary.

Fire Line Video Productions dedicates this video to the members of the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD, EMS and all emergency workers who perished during the rescue of the thousands of people who were trapped after the attack on the World Trade center.
