Journey through some of the most unique and historic firehouses in the United States and Canada.  What stands out about this book is that all of the firehouses pictured were in active service at the time they were photographed.  Unlike any other firehouse book produced, 350 separate firehouses are featured, including exciting interior and apparatus shots, some fire photography, and a few street scenes to give the reader the full perspective on the areas featured.

Jeremiah Herderich started his career in the fire service as a Call Firefighter in 1996 in Montana, then as a professional firefighter in 1999.  With 26 years of service as a professional firefighter, Jeremiah has served on 3 different fire departments, and is currently a Lieutenant with the Denver Fire Department.
