Smoke Eaters was a 6 month project from March - September 11th, 2025, focused on Member's of the FDNY in Manhattan and The Bronx. Ben Dicker's documentation was inspired by previous generations of fire photographers and photojournalists, capturing this entire project on 35mm and 120mm film.

This book features over 120 images of mostly unseen work, and journal entries from his fire diary.
